RECOMMENDATION LETTER

Dear Headmaster,

It is my pleasure to strongly recommend Dewi Kirana Khairunnisa for accepting a medical scholarship from Medical School Yonsei University.

I'm Dyandra Arcyane Zahra Gunawan, a classmate and teammate of Dewi Kirana Khairunnisa. I have 2 years of experience discussing and studying as a team and have seen many characters come and go. Dewi Kirana Khairunnisa is one individual I have discussed with who uniquely stands out.

During our time together, Dewi Kirana Khairunnisa displayed great talents in Biology, Anatomy, and Chemist. When we first met, I was immediately impressed with Dewi Kirana Khairunnisa and the medical knowledge she had on the day we met, but during the time discussed and studied together, her understanding of medical grew far more than that of her peers.

My first experience with Dewi's adaptability came not along after she joined the Medical Olympiad. Last year, we had a time that we should improve our knowledge about medical life. At that time, Dewi's experience with medical life was limited, but she studied extra hours to learn how to properly memorize and understanding medical science. Within the week, her knowledge about medical improved so fast and surprising. Dewi even handled the team with skill and persistence so the team got the best score in the olympiad.

It's not just her memorize skills that impress me, however. Dewi Kirana Khairunnisa was a joy to discuss with because of her amazingly positive attitude and eagerness to stick tightly to goals. Her can-do attitude and team-building skills were also necessary and valued not just by myself, but by her peers, who often relied on her to get the job done and reach the goals.

I am absolutely confident that Dewi Kirana Khairunnisa would be a great scholarship grantee for Medical School Yonsei Univesity. Not only will she bring the kind of skills and experiences that university looking for the best quality student, but she will also quickly become an asset and bring the university got many high achievements in any way she can.

If you need more information or specific examples, please do not hesitate to contact me at 081223401566, or by email at dyandraarcyane@gmail.com. As a recommendation letter likely only provides a snapshot of her talents and achievements, I would be happy to further elaborate on my time discussing and studying with her.

Sincerely,

Dyandra Arcyane Zahra Gunawan

ANIMAL

KANGAROO The word kangaroo derives from 'Gangurru', the name given to Eastern Grey Kangaroos by the Guuga Yimithirr people of Far North Queensland. Kangaroos are of cultural and spiritual significance to Aboriginal people across Australia. Plus, their meat was, and continues to be, a staple protein source; pelts were used for clothing and rugs; and their skin crafted into water bags. Kangaroos are the world’s largest marsupials. A Red Kangaroo can weigh  90kg  and can grow two metres tall. Black Wallaroos, at around 20 kg, are the smallest species of the group (their name a portmanteau of wallaby and kangaroo). All kangaroos have short hair, powerful hind legs, small forelimbs, big feet and a long tail. They have excellent hearing and keen eyesight. Depending on the species, their fur coat can be red, grey or light to dark brown. Eastern Grey Kangaroos at Yourka Reserve, Qld. Photo Wayne Lawler/EcoPix.
